Realtors and Closing Attorneys, please make note of the street addresses that make up the Bedford Place Homeowners Association. Not all of Bedford sold homes are deeded to the common area private park and tennis courts. Please be informed and do not advertise your listing for any other addresses as part of the Bedford Place HOA. We offer Associate Memberships for the park and tennis courts to our local neighborhood homeowners. (click to view)
Common Questions
Do you allow Boats, Trailers, RV's or other Vehicles such as Commercial Trucks to be parked or stored on a homeowners lot?
- Sorry, NO we do Not and YES we enforce it! There is an understood "honor system" 48 hour grace period permitted for loading/offloading/cleaning. If abused, homeowner will be considered in non-compliance and will be contacted by the Board.
Do we need approval for Fencing?
- YES, All new fencing and any changes to update existing fencing need to be approved by our Architectural Committee, prior to beginning your project.
Are we permitted to add additional structures, such as Garden Sheds or Pool Houses?
- Only with prior-approval by the Architectural Committee. There are setback, height, style & use regulations among other requirements to be met.
Do we need approval for modifications to the exterior of our home?
- In some cases Yes, but usually not. It is best to submit the question to the Board using the Contact Form on our website.
Can we use the park for private events?
- YES, it is your park, it is deeded to each homeowner in our small HOA. We do have some "rules" and request that you contact the President or Board to Reserve. We will need to provide notice to other homeowners of the private event, date & time.
Can we park our cars and trucks on the street in front of our homes?
- Sorry, NO the C&R's do not permit it and we have too many issues with narrow, curving streets which are hard to navigate in both directions with parked cars.
