Tennis Court Courtesy & Rules

  • The tennis courts are for Bedford Place Homeowner Association or Associate Members only. All guests must be accompanied by homeowner or associate member.
  • One key per household. Replacement for Lost keys will require a fine of $25.
  • It is everyone's responsibility that uses the court to ensure it is locked behind them when leaving.
  • Please be CAREFUL - the gate has an automated closing feature (spring) and can suddenly close behind you; especially in windy conditions.
  • Children should be accompanied by an adult. The gate's internal locking mechanism may not be easily reached by small children to unlock the latch to open the gate. For their safety, please be careful! Please accompany all children under 12 with an adult over 18.
  • No climbing on nets, fencing or gates.
  • Courts are for TENNIS & PICKLEBALL ONLY! NO Skateboards, bicycles, skates or other equipment that could mar or scratch the court surface are permitted on the courts inside the gate.
  • No food or beverage (except water), or glass containers is permitted on the courts. Please haul off all trash and take home with you.
  • Please wear tennis or appropriate soft soled shoes on the surface.
  • Use of courts is on a first come first serve basis. Please be courteous of your time; when people are waiting to play, players must limit their playing time to a one-hour maximum.
  • Utilization of courts is restricted to daylight hours. No court usage is permitted after dark.
  • Observed acts of vandalism should be reported immediately to the police or neighborhood watch hotline.
  • Bedford Place Homeowners Association is not liable to authorized users of the tennis courts and park area for personal injury or the loss or damages to personal property.
  • All members are required to display their colored lanyards with key & ID attached to the tennis court gate above the handle or fencing on the side of court in use. This will help to identify you as an authorized user accessing the tennis courts. (Lanyards have a quick release & Ring with key & ID card)
